This route is for IT managers, technicians and managed service providers — we want self-installation to be genuinely achievable, without making the main customer journey feel technical.
What installers will need
- Venue PA access (direct feed preferred; microphone at a PA speaker as an alternative)
- Network connectivity for the on-site Recorder Box
- An Announce Again venue account to adopt and manage the Recorder Box
How installation works
Whichever route you choose — self-install or our professional setup — connecting Announce Again follows the same pattern:
- Confirm the site meets our site requirements — power, network and audio access
- Connect to the PA feed, or position a microphone at a PA speaker, following our Connecting the Recorder Unit to a PA System guide
- Get the Recorder Box on the network
- Adopt the Recorder Box into your Announce Again venue account
- For mobile installations — trains, buses and boats — fit a BLE Beacon in each carriage or section
